Profile

A Profile is the persistent identity record for each end user or company on AdvanGuard. It accumulates verified data across multiple verification sessions and anchors long-running services like AML Monitoring and ScoreCard risk scoring.

Single source of truth

All verified data from every verification session is written back to one persistent Profile. Store one profileId per user or company.

Survives multiple verifications

A user can complete multiple Applications over time, for example annual re-verification. Each result enriches the same Profile.

AML & Risk hub

Once activated, the Profile anchors AML Ongoing Monitoring (OGS) and ScoreCard risk scoring for the entity's lifetime.

Two types of Profiles

Individual
KYC — person identity

Individual Profile

Stores personal identity data, ID documents, selfie/liveness results, AML case references, and ScoreCard scores for a natural person.

Company
KYB — business entity

Company Profile

Stores company registration data, associated individuals, ownership structure, AML screening records, and all KYB application history.

Profile lifecycle

Every Profile starts in INIT state and must be explicitly activated to enable long-running services. The transition is one-way and cannot be reversed.

💡 One-way transition: Once a Profile is activated, it cannot be reverted. Ensure verification is complete before activating.
