Ongoing Monitoring
Automatically track Profile changes in watchlist databases and receive alerts when records are updated.
✅Prerequisites
Ongoing Monitoring requires the Ongoing Monitoring service to be enabled for your account. When not enabled, all Ongoing Monitoring-related option is automatically hidden in the Dashboard.
How Ongoing Monitoring works
When Ongoing Monitoring is enabled for a Profile, AdvanGuard enrolls that Profile in a 365-day continuous monitoring subscription. When a new match is detected:
Database Updated→Match Change Detected→New Alert Created→Case Reopened
- Watchlist database is updated, including new sanctions or adverse media.
- System detects a change in a Match associated with a monitored Profile.
- A new Alert is automatically created. Type:Ongoing Monitoring.
- The previous Alert is marked as Expired.
- The Case status reverts to OPEN (PENDING).
- Compliance officers review the new Alert in the Case.
Billing Rules
- When Watchlist or Adverse Media Ongoing Monitoring is first enabled, the system checks whether a Monitoring subscription already exists within the rolling 365-day window.
- Whether you enable Watchlist monitoring, Adverse Media monitoring, or both simultaneously, only one Monitoring fee is charged.
- Toggling Ongoing Monitoring on or off within the subscription period incurs no additional charge.
- Profiles with Auto Renew enabled are automatically renewed on the day the subscription expires.
